Klopo is the Javanese term for coconut in English. Sate klopo is a satay that uses coconut in the process of making it. When the satay is burned, the grated coconut is flour over the chicken meat or beef. Even when the satay is served, it will be served with serundeng (fried grated coconut).
Satay klopo is dished up on banana leaves and eaten with lontong (rice cake). Once the satay is served, peanut sauce and soy sauced poured on the satay with sliced onion, chili, and of course serundeng.

Once you drop a visit to try this satay, you can choose the kind of meat you want to eat between chicken meat or beef. A portion of satay klapa will cost you Rp 18.000 (chicken meat) or Rp 25.000 (beef). For each portion, you will be served with 10 pieces of satay. The lontong is optional, you can add the lontong with the cost of Rp 3.000/pcs. The place is open from 6.30AM to 11.30PM
